☕️ NEST CAFÉ
Architect: @aynazkhafaei.arch

Located within the heart of the urban fabric, Nest Café is conceived as an extension of the city rather than an object placed within it. The project dissolves the conventional boundary between interior and exterior through a single transparent glass enclosure, allowing the surrounding urban landscape to become an active part of the spatial experience.

Designed as a third place between home and university, the café offers a flexible environment where social interaction, focused work, and everyday rituals coexist. By integrating a café, co-working spaces, and informal gathering areas, the project encourages creativity and community within the rhythm of daily urban life.

The architectural language is informed by three complementary principles:

Organic Architecture
Space unfolds as a natural continuation of its context, expressed through soft geometries, tactile materials, and a seamless relationship with the outdoors.

Japanese / Japandi Aesthetic
Guided by simplicity, natural light, and quiet restraint, the design creates a calm atmosphere that offers relief from the intensity of the surrounding city.

Minimal Design
A careful reduction of elements emphasizes clarity, functionality, and the essential qualities of space, allowing materials, light, and human activity to define the experience.

Rather than functioning as a destination detached from its surroundings, Nest Café becomes part of the city's everyday fabric—a place to pause, work, meet, and generate ideas, where architecture mediates between people, nature, and urban life.
